Weaving Workshop

Learn the basics of frame loom tapestry weaving and create your own woven wall hanging in this beginner weaving workshop led by Courtney Salerno @madeby_cjk. Courtney will bring some finished pieces she's created to help evoke some inspiration and for you to get ideas for your process.  

During this class you'll learn:

-how to set up the warp thread on loom

-weaving stitches including rya knots, rya loops, tabby weave, pile weave, and soumak weave

-how to add fringe

-how to weave with fibers of various weights and textures
